For many of us we have been busy cooking and preparing a feast to enjoy with family and friends.
I was one of the many. I woke up this morning especially thankful
for the fruits of my labor. It has been a most rewarding Thanksgiving. I woke up and watched Macys' 82nd Parade. As always, it was spectacular. I then watched the original 1947 Mircle on 34th Street. As I watched the parade and the movie every sign was about "BELIEVING". Today is a moment I will never forget.
I wake up every morning thankful for all that I have. All that I worked for and grateful for believing. Believing in me, believing in God, our Angels and believing that we all can make a difference. It doesn't have to be grand. It can be as simple as a kind gesture or a smile to another.
As I watched my family and friends today interact with one another, it made my heart warm to see how far we all have come. Life isn't meant to be a breeze where we catch onto that imaginary rainbow and set us free from all our troubles. Life is about learning lessons and constant change, flowing with that change. Learning along the way how we can be more loving, kind, joyful, selfless.........yet believe in ourselves that we need to love within and set boundaries with others.
Yes, today is just one day we all come together and be Thankful.
Let's not wait for a holiday. Let's be grateful everyday. One day at a time we can make a difference. As we keep faith in our hearts, we will grow stronger in our beliefs. We will become better individuals with more love in our hearts. Believing in ourselves, loving ourselves will send the message to all that love is the answer. One of my favorite songs from the Beatles, "All We Need Is Love" says it all. There is no room for fear if we commit to love.
